Cooking Events
Kitchen mornings that build independence one recipe at a time, with room for every texture, smell and taste preference.
A kitchen that meets you halfway
Cooking rolls sequencing, measuring, motor skills and sensory tolerance into something a child can eat at the end. Recipes are broken into picture steps, and every station has a job that fits, from stirring to sorting to reading the timer.
Nobody has to taste anything. Strong smells stay at one end of the room, gloves are on the table for children who would rather not touch dough, and safe knives and low-noise appliances are the norm.
What we host
Two-hour sessions for younger children: no heat, plenty of mixing, and a snack to take home.
Shopping lists, budgets, safe knife work and five meals a teen can make on their own by the end.
Caregivers cook alongside their children, then everyone eats together at a table with no pressure to clear a plate.
